Out of frustration of the discrepancies between pan appeal and how a product wears, founder and editor of The Cos View, Natasha Kohli, decided to share her experiences and thoughts with her fellow beauty lovers in order to save them the time, money, and heartache that comes along with that problem among others when purchasing cosmetics.

At The Cos View you will find unbiased reviews on beauty products in three different categories: Counter Couture, Beauty on a Budget, and Natural Beauty.  Counter Couture looks at some of the higher-end brands available (usually found in department stores, specialty stores or boutiques), allowing our readers to “try before you buy” in a virtual sense.  Before splurging on a $50 lip plumper, check out our review on it to make sure it’s worth it.  Or if you are in need of the perfect blush and don’t want to visit ten counters before finding it (or don’t want a face full of swatches), take a look at our blush reviews and see what you can find here first.  Beauty on a Budget understands that not everyone can or is willing to spend upwards of $20 for a tube of mascara and prefer to purchase their cosmetics from the drugstore, especially since many argue that the packaging is the only difference.  Is that true?  Take a look at our reviews on the products in this category to find out.  The Natural Beauty section is dedicated to natural and organic products.  Just because a color product is “natural”, does that mean it doesn’t last as long or doesn’t have the same amount of color intensity?  Find out for yourself by reading our natural product reviews.  And when we find a product we love and decide we cannot live without it, we place it in Our Cosmetic Bag.
