Q: How do I use the site?
A: The site is divided into categories, three concentrate on product reviews and one offers beauty Tips and Tutorials.  The three categories offering product reviews are Beauty on a Budget for drugstore brands, Counter Couture for higher end brands, and Natural Beauty for natural and organic products.  Each of these categories are then organized by product use, so you can look under Eyes, Lips, Cheeks, Face, and Multi Taskers.  And of course, if you simply want to search for your favorite brand or product you can use the search bar on the right side of the page.

Q: I love your site, how often do you add reviews?
A: We add reviews to each of the categories once per week.  On Mondays, we review a product from Counter Couture, on Wednesdays Beauty on a Budget, Fridays is for Natural Beauty, and Saturdays we’ll add something to the Tips and Tutorials.  Soon we’ll have some other exciting things to offer, so check back often and stay in touch with us on Facebook and Twitter!

Q: I want to sign up to join The Cos View.  How do I do that?
A: To become a member of The Cos View in order to submit comments, be eligible to receive our member-only cosmetic giveaways, and join the community, you must sign up and we invite you to do so here.

Q: I lost my password and can’t log in to my TCV account.  Where can I retrieve it?
A: On our login page, click on the “Forgot Password” link, follow the steps and your password will be emailed to the email account you signed up with.

Q:  Is The Cos View compensated by cosmetic manufacturers to give positive reviews about their products?
A: No.  All of the reviews on the site are completely unbiased personal reviews of products we would consider buying for ourselves and/or clients or think our readers would consider buying.  On occasion, manufacturers may provide products to be reviewed in which there is no guarantee of a review of that product, let alone a positive review.
